In April 2020 and in the interest of legacy I wrote a Wikipedia entry recording the thoughts and notable works of Harveywetdog. I admit I was ignorant of the rules concerning self promotion on Wikipedia and consequently my entry was correctly deleted and my account expunged from the system. As a result my original words and links were sadly lost but nevertheless here is a rewrite. Perhaps when I'm gone someone will be able to enter it onto Wikipedia as a fitting epitaph for my time on the Harveywetdog Project.
BE Jumping and Style Open Competition Hartpury January 2015

For my first trip out of the 2015 British Eventing season I took my camera along to the Baileys Horse Feeds Jumping and Style competition at Hartpury Arena. In Jumping and Style riders take on a continuous course of show jumps and cross country style fences (all supplied by "Jump for Joy"), the cross country section being timed. Riders are also judged on style with the overall winner being the combination with the best score across style penalties, show jumping faults, cross country time faults and cross country jumping faults. The competition ran from 17:45 until about 18:40 hence my video is split into two and runs in chronological order. There is also a smaller video featuring the top three riders which British Eventing kindly featured on their Facebook page. According to the British Eventing website the top ten Open riders have qualified for the Final at Hartpury on 22nd February. Oh and if you're wondering about the zero style penalties for the winner it got corrected to 0.1 in the official results. Still not bad though!
