If Harveywetdog did Wikipedia - 15 years as an equestrian videographer

In April 2020, and in the interest of legacy, I penned a Wikipedia entry recording the thoughts and notable achievements of myself as Harveywetdog. I admit I was ignorant of the rules concerning self promotion on Wikipedia at the time; consequently my entry was unfortunately, although arguably correctly, deleted and my account expunged from the system. As a result my original words and links were sadly lost but nevertheless here is an attempt at a rewrite. Perhaps when I'm gone someone will be able to enter it onto Wikipedia on my behalf, to serve as a fitting epitaph for the exciting times I spent on the Harveywetdog Project.

Tickets On Sale For Bicton International Horse Trials Incorporating The FEI Eventing Nations Cup™

Bicton International Horse Trials returns to Bicton Arena from 28 - 31 May 2026, bringing four days of world class eventing to one of Britain’s most scenic equestrian venues. After a successful debut in 2025, Bicton will once again host the British leg of the FEI Eventing Nations Cup™, welcoming international teams and top horse and rider combinations to Devon. With the new Nations Cup format now established, the May International has quickly earned its place as a standout date in the British Eventing calendar, combining elite sport with opportunities across multiple levels.

The FEI Eventing Nations Cup™ will sit at the heart of the international programme, supported by Bicton Arena’s purpose-built facilities and excellent ground preparation. Continued investment across the venue will deliver an even better experience for riders, horses and spectators in 2026, including new cross country fences and the latest frangible technology.

Developing future talent remains a key focus at Bicton International Horse Trials in 2026. Alongside a strong international programme, the CCI2*-L and CCI3*-L classes provide opportunities for horse and rider combinations to gain experience and secure essential qualifications as they continue to build their international careers. These long format classes play an important role within the event’s competitive schedule, supporting combinations aiming to establish themselves at higher levels of the sport.

2026 will see the addition of the British Junior Championships, running at the CCI2*-L level, along with the introduction of the new CCIP2* class running at 1.05m level. Together, these classes demonstrate Bicton’s commitment to developing young riders and horses, offering valuable competitive experience in a high quality international environment, and underlining the event’s ongoing dedication to nurturing the next generation of eventing talent.

Bicton International Horse Trials also offers a memorable day out for the whole family, with a wide range of entertainment running alongside the sporting action. The only British leg of the popular FEI Eventing Nations Cup™ series will offer spectators the opportunity to witness the who’s who of the Eventing world up close, as riders travel from across the globe to represent their country. Following a successful launch in 2025, the Owners, Riders and Grooms Lounge will return, joined by a new Members Lounge for 2026. Picnic parking and tailgate parking will also be available, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy a full day of sport and entertainment in the Devon countryside.
