If Harveywetdog did Wikipedia

In April 2020 and in the interest of legacy I wrote a Wikipedia entry recording the thoughts and notable works of Harveywetdog. I admit I was ignorant of the rules concerning self promotion on Wikipedia and consequently my entry was correctly deleted and my account expunged from the system. As a result my original words and links were sadly lost but nevertheless here is a rewrite. Perhaps when I'm gone someone will be able to enter it onto Wikipedia as a fitting epitaph for my time on the Harveywetdog Project.

Weston Park Horse Trials October 2021

I am delighted to be returning to Weston Park after missing out in Autumn 2019 and 2020. I will be at Weston Park on Sunday for the Novice sections. I'm currently deciding if I'll take the PXW-Z190 or the HXR NX80. The final decision will probably depend on the weather.

Below is the Weston Park press release.

Weston Park press release:

"We are looking forward to an exciting action-packed weekend with over 400 entries.   Weston Park is delighted to welcome a new sponsor to the Team - HorseQuest - who are supporting a new initiative this year – the Novice Masters Series sections giving amazing support and incentive to this group of riders at Intermediate Novice level.

The BE90 and BE100 - all have a chance of qualifying for the Area Festival Championship or the Area Festival Regional Final which leads to qualifying for the Grassroots Final at Badminton next May.

The BE90 Team Challenge is kindly sponsored by locally based - Rowen Barbary Horse Feeds. Rowan Barbary commented “We are proud to be involved in a nationally recognised event which is on our doorstep and we are looking forward to an exciting weekend”.

The organisers are thrilled to be working with all of their sponsors and with their fabulous title sponsors David and Catherine Witt of Rookery Park Stud who are supporting the Novice sections once again.

The event layout that proved so exciting previously has been retained.  The course, designed by Janet Plant and superbly constructed by ‘Plant A Fence’ will run over a thousand acres of rolling wooded parkland and the fences are solid and imposing using many of the existing features which give the Grassroots riders a chance to ride at this established venue.

We are looking forward to welcoming spectators back to the beautiful Park.
