In April 2020 and in the interest of legacy I wrote a Wikipedia entry recording the thoughts and notable works of Harveywetdog. I admit I was ignorant of the rules concerning self promotion on Wikipedia and consequently my entry was correctly deleted and my account expunged from the system. As a result my original words and links were sadly lost but nevertheless here is a rewrite. Perhaps when I'm gone someone will be able to enter it onto Wikipedia as a fitting epitaph for my time on the Harveywetdog Project.
The inspiration for Explosions came obviously from the song but just importantly from the sight of Charlotte Fry and Remming charging down the centre line at the judge in the PSG Freestyle Competition at the NAF 5 Star Winter Dressage Championships. I was so impressed by Remming's elevation; but I also love the way Charlotte has her hat pulled down so the brim almost covers her eyes and gives the impression she can't see where she is going; very moody!

From Uthopia giving Charlotte a hard time in the Spring to Michael Eilberg being crowned National Champion in the Autumn this is the Harveywetdog Dressage year for 2014. The music is a tribute version of Explosions by Ellie Goulding sung by tribute singer Coraly K. As Niki Crisp was the last rider I videoed in competition in 2014 I've given her the chance to kick this all off.
