Badminton Horse Trials Update
Update from Badminton Horse Trials
It seems only yesterday that we were wrapping up Badminton 2024, having enjoyed a wonderful event, which included the attendance of HM The Queen, celebrating the 75th Anniversary, alongside a great competition with a very worthy winner in Caroline Powell. Our weekend of sunny weather was something to be envied by many events as the summer unrolled, it really was as though the weather gods came up trumps especially for the 75th Anniversary!

We are very grateful to our title sponsor Mars Equestrian™ and all our other sponsors for their continued support of the Event.
As a sign of their continued support of eventing at every level, LeMieux is proud to become title sponsor of the LeMieux Grassroots Championships 2025.
The schedule for the 2025 event is as follows:
Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th May = Grassroots competition
Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th = CCI 5 Star Long competition
As all will know the traffic was much improved for 2024 but we are not taking this for granted and continue to look at ways we can strengthen our traffic plan. Everyone’s early arrival and good ground conditions were definitely a contributory factor to all going so well in 2024.

The hub at the Campsite will be repeated and it is intended to give a couple of talks, one of which will again include Eric Winter (the cross-country course designer). Further improvements to the internal roads have been completed.

Vodafone, O2 and EE are all on board and will be erecting masts as per 2024. The Wi-Fi coverage also continues to be enhanced.
Many of our regular exhibitors have already shown their intention to return and as always there are some exciting and different new ones waiting in the wings to fill any vacant space that might become available.

Badminton is pleased to announce our Charity of the Year will be Guide Dogs. Every day, 250 people in the UK start to lose their sight. Guide Dogs is here to ensure they don’t lose their freedom as well. Their expert staff, volunteers and life-changing dogs help people with sight loss live actively, independently and well. Guide Dogs CEO Andrew Lennox said: “Visitors to Badminton understand how powerful the partnership between animals and humans can be. Our services help thousands of people with sight loss to lead confident, independent and fulfilling lives, and the money raised at Badminton will help fund our life-changing work. We look forward to meeting people at our stand, where they can hear from some of our inspirational guide dog owners, as well as the volunteers and staff who help raise and train our amazing dogs.”
