If Harveywetdog did Wikipedia

In April 2020 and in the interest of legacy I wrote a Wikipedia entry recording the thoughts and notable works of Harveywetdog. I admit I was ignorant of the rules concerning self promotion on Wikipedia and consequently my entry was correctly deleted and my account expunged from the system. As a result my original words and links were sadly lost but nevertheless here is a rewrite. Perhaps when I'm gone someone will be able to enter it onto Wikipedia as a fitting epitaph for my time on the Harveywetdog Project.

An action packed weekend with over 500 entries received.   Weston Park are delighted to welcome new sponsors to the Team – Brooke Legacy Equestrian, Equine 74 Gastric, IEC Equine Solutions and  W R Davies Toyota are all supporting  sections  giving amazing support and incentive for the grassroots level.  The W R Davies Toyota  sponsorship  will also include all of the Plant A Fence events in 2020 – Stafford, Weston Park and Brand Hall.  Janet Plant commented “this is a great partnership and will give a tremendous boost to  our events”.

The BE90 and BE100 Regional Finals are sponsored by Science Supplements - the winners from these sections will qualify for the Grassroots Final at Badminton next May.

The BE90 Regional Team Challenge a new class is kindly sponsored by locally based - Rowen Barbary Horse Feeds. Rowan Barbary commented “We are proud to be involved in a nationally recognised event which is on our doorstep and we are looking forward to an exciting weekend”.

The organisers are thrilled to be working with all of their new Sponsors and with their fabulous title sponsors David and Catherine Witt of Rookery Park Stud who are supporting the Novice sections once again.

The event has a new layout therefore giving a totally new ‘feel’ to this wonderful venue.   The course, designed by Janet Plant and superbly constructed, will run over a thousand acres of rolling wooded parkland and the fences are solid and imposing using many of the existing features giving the Grassroots riders a chance to ride at this established event.
