If Harveywetdog did Wikipedia

In April 2020 and in the interest of legacy I wrote a Wikipedia entry recording the thoughts and notable works of Harveywetdog. I admit I was ignorant of the rules concerning self promotion on Wikipedia and consequently my entry was correctly deleted and my account expunged from the system. As a result my original words and links were sadly lost but nevertheless here is a rewrite. Perhaps when I'm gone someone will be able to enter it onto Wikipedia as a fitting epitaph for my time on the Harveywetdog Project.

New look for Badminton Horse Trials

BADMINTON HORSE TRIALS LOGO GETS A MAKEOVER

World-renowned Badminton Horse Trials is proud to introduce a new look for the 2020 event and beyond.  The new Badminton logo signals an exciting stage in the event’s evolution as it moves into its eighth decade.

Having celebrated its 70th anniversary this year, the 2020 event will quite literally be marked by a fresh and contemporary new look with the newly released logo befitting its exciting future.

The new logo is designed to work as a stand-alone icon, and will feature throughout all online content, merchandise, stationery, moving picture grabs and on-site embellishments. Using the Beaufort blue and buff colour palette, the logo has been carefully developed to allow any future title sponsor’s own branding to work comfortably alongside.

Developed over the past 8 months by Badminton’s in-house webmaster and computer graphic designer, Claire Shand, and Media Director, Julian Seaman, the logo will be rolled out over the next few weeks as the event launches its plans for 2020.

Commenting on the new look, Jane Tuckwell, Badminton Event Director said: “We have all been excited to witness the development process and are thrilled with the result of Claire and Julian’s joint efforts which will work very well alongside the title sponsor we are looking to attract.”
