If Harveywetdog did Wikipedia

In April 2020 and in the interest of legacy I wrote a Wikipedia entry recording the thoughts and notable works of Harveywetdog. I admit I was ignorant of the rules concerning self promotion on Wikipedia and consequently my entry was correctly deleted and my account expunged from the system. As a result my original words and links were sadly lost but nevertheless here is a rewrite. Perhaps when I'm gone someone will be able to enter it onto Wikipedia as a fitting epitaph for my time on the Harveywetdog Project.

Valegro: how to obtain one of twelve limited edition bronze maquettes

Limited edition maquettes will be bronze
Here are the details of how you can obtain your very own bronze sculpture of the “world’s favourite dressage horse” with a range of options to suite the pockets of all Valegro enthusiasts.

To help fund the final half life sculpture in his home town of Newent we are releasing a limited edition of 12 (TWELVE) one-sixth life size replica bronze maquettes of Valegro in exactly the same pose as the final half-life sculpture.

The original maquette has been produced by our artist Georgie Welch after many painstaking hours of detailed work to ensure that she has captured the vital essence of the horse. We are delighted that Carl, Charlotte and, as you’ve seen from the videos, Valegro himself have worked with Georgie to ensure that every little detail is correct. As Georgie will use the maquette to scale up to final half life sculpture it has to be right.

All the maquettes will be cast in bronze and will stand on a bronze casting of an arena with Carl, Charlotte and Alan’s signatures featured in the arena sand. Valegro will be performing piaffe and will be wearing his competition tack. The whole piece will stand on a slate base and will be a powerful memento of this great horse.

If you would like to own one of the 12 limited edition maquettes then the following options are available.
