As a little warm up for my 2017 eventing season I took the cameras along to Hartpury for the final, Open Novice, section of the Baileys Horse Feeds Jumping And Style (JAS) Championships. Here are the videos for the top four combinations.

What is Jumping and Style?

JAS is British Eventing's form of indoor eventing. The competition is kindly sponsored by Baileys Horse Feeds and the plastic jumps are supplied by Jump For Joy.

Jumping and Style (JAS) is run in the winter months and combines all aspects of eventing in one round of jumping. Riders are judged on style, with low scores indicating the best style, as they complete a round of show jumping followed by a round of timed cross country jumps. Penalties are awarded for knock downs and refusals in both phases and for exceeding the time in the cross country phase. The lowest score of STYLE+SJ FAULTS + XC FAULTS + XC TIME FAULTS wins!

The course set out in Hartpury Arena
